We are a group of people that come together to share the love and joy of Hoop Dance. The circle grows daily, and as long as others want to join us, we will continue to open the circle and make room for everyone.
The RVA Hoop Lovers began as an online group in 2007, formed for the purpose of finding other Richmonders that were either already hooping, or hoop-curious. The group consisted of a handful of people for the first year, but took off like a whirling dervish in 2008, and even more so in 2009. With the introduction of classes and workshops, the group exploded with closet-hoopers, hoop appreciators, and the hoop-curious. It’s impossible not to run into a hooper in Richmond today.
